A Special Episode for a Special Fan: Prince George and Fireman Sam
Prince George, the young royal who has captured hearts around the world, has an unexpected passion that led to a unique tribute from a beloved children's television show.
It turns out that the little prince is quite the fan of “Fireman Sam,” a popular program that has entertained kids for decades.
His enthusiasm for the show was confirmed by none other than his mother, Kate Middleton, during an interview on BBC Radio 1.
Kate shared that George's love for “Fireman Sam” runs deep.
She mentioned how much he enjoys the adventures of the brave fireman and his team in the fictional Welsh village of Pontypandy.
What's more, George has a particular fascination with the helicopters featured in the series, which adds to his excitement.
In fact, back in 2016, the Duchess was spotted picking up a “Fireman Sam” reading book for her son at a charity shop, showcasing her support for his interests.
The creators of “Fireman Sam” were delighted to learn of their royal fan and decided to do something special.
For the show's 30th anniversary in 2018, they crafted an episode in honor of Prince George.
This episode, aptly named “The Prince in Pontypandy,” introduces a surprise visitor to the village—an unnamed royal prince, no less!
