Royal Rivalry Reaches New Heights: Joy Behar Calls Out Harry and Meghan
The ongoing clash between Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and the royal family has taken a dramatic turn.
Joy Behar, the bold co-host of The View, recently aired her criticisms of the Sussexes, claiming their latest Christmas card is nothing more than a poorly executed imitation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's original family photo.
This revelation has stirred up quite the conversation.
During the episode, Behar presented a side-by-side comparison of the two holiday cards, highlighting the striking similarities that left many viewers questioning the authenticity of Harry and Meghan's festive greeting.
According to Behar, the couple resorted to using photo-editing software to swap out William and Kate's faces for their own, altering the background and adding some holiday flair in the process.
“It's clear they lack originality,” Behar remarked.
“They're so desperate to compete with William and Kate, who are the true royals, that they'll do anything for attention.” Her comments underscore the ongoing tension between the Sussexes and the rest of the royal family, a rivalry that has become increasingly public over the years.
Adding fuel to the fire, Behar didn't hold back on critiquing Harry and Meghan's choice of attire in the card.
She suggested that their somber outfits seemed more appropriate for a funeral than a joyful holiday celebration.
In stark contrast, she noted William and Kate's cheerful and casual look, which perfectly matched their three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Behar further emphasized her point, suggesting that while Harry and Meghan attempt to project an image of happiness, the reality tells a different story.
“They've isolated themselves from family, friends, and their country,” she said.
“What do they have to show for it?
Just lawsuits and Netflix deals that nobody cares about.”
The co-host also took issue with the message included in Harry and Meghan's card, which read, “Wishing you a joyful holiday season… on behalf of our teams at the Archwell Foundation, Archwell Audio, and Archwell Productions.”
Behar questioned the sincerity of such a corporate-sounding greeting, asking, “Who writes a Christmas card like that?”
She continued, expressing disbelief at the notion of teams being involved in a personal holiday message.
“The only team they have is a bunch of lawyers and PR agents trying to salvage their reputation,” she quipped.
In her eyes, King Charles and Queen Camilla represent the true essence of royalty, embodying grace and dedication to their country.
Holding up a copy of the Cambridge's original card, Behar made her case even stronger.
“Look at this,” she said, displaying the two cards side by side.
“They're practically identical except for the faces and the background.
This is plagiarism, pure and simple.” Her assertion painted Harry and Meghan as lacking integrity in their holiday greetings.
In a bold move, Behar challenged the Sussexes to appear on her show and defend themselves.
“Harry and Meghan, if you're watching, I dare you to come on The View and face me,” she declared, clearly eager for a confrontation.
“I have plenty of questions, and I know the American people do too.
You owe us an explanation.”
With her fiery remarks, Behar underscored the growing discontent surrounding Harry and Meghan.
Their attempts to carve out a new identity away from royal duties seem overshadowed by accusations of imitation and insincerity.
