Meghan Markle Accused of Fashion Theft at Bob Marley Movie Premiere

In a shocking turn of events, , the Duchess of Sussex, finds herself embroiled in a scandal that has left many questioning her integrity.

A former designer has come forward with allegations that Markle stole a dress intended for another client, wearing it to the premiere of the Bob Marley film, “One Love,” in Jamaica.

This revelation has sparked outrage, particularly among those who value ethical practices in the fashion industry.

The designer, who has chosen to remain anonymous, claims that Markle wore a dress that was never meant for her.

According to him, she neither paid for it nor returned it after the event.

His accusations paint a picture of dishonesty and disrespect, suggesting that Markle's actions have tarnished his reputation and jeopardized his relationship with a high-profile client.

The premiere took place at the Carib Theatre in Kingston on January 23, 2024, where Markle donned a striking black leotard-style top paired with a voluminous black skirt designed by Carolina Herrera.

However, the designer insists that the skirt was originally a stunning black silk dress he crafted for a well-known actress who was also in attendance that night.

Describing the original creation, the designer explained that it featured a fitted bodice and a flared skirt adorned with pearls and crystals.

It was a unique piece, made specifically for a client who had invested significantly in her image.

On the day of the premiere, he delivered the dress to her hotel room, leaving it with a note and a receipt, completely unaware that Markle would soon be donning it.

To his dismay, he later spotted Markle on the red carpet, having altered the dress into a skirt by cutting off the bodice.

“She had ruined the dress and stolen it from my client,” he lamented, emphasizing that Markle had no right to make such modifications without permission.

The designer expressed feelings of betrayal, stating that her actions not only broke the law but also shattered the trust he had placed in her.

The designer confronted Markle directly at the event, demanding an explanation for her actions.

He described her response as rude and arrogant.

Markle allegedly claimed she purchased the dress from a local boutique and was unaware of its true origins.

“She said she liked the dress and had altered it to fit her taste,” he recounted, noting her stubbornness and lack of gratitude.

Markle reportedly asserted her status as the Duchess of Sussex, insisting that she could wear whatever she pleased and owed nothing to him or his client.

This dismissive attitude has only fueled the designer's resolve to speak out against her.

Feeling a moral obligation to reveal the truth, the designer decided to go public with his allegations.

He wants to protect his reputation and that of his client, emphasizing that he possesses evidence to substantiate his claims.

“I have nothing to hide and nothing to lose,” he stated confidently, asserting that he has photos, videos, documents, and witnesses ready to back up his story.

Having worked with numerous celebrities and royals, the designer maintained that he has always upheld professional and ethical standards.

His experience with Markle, however, stands out as a stark contrast.

“She was the worst client I ever had and the worst person I ever met,” he declared, labeling her a nightmare.

As this story unfolds, it raises important questions about accountability in the world of fashion.
