Prince William Draws Inspiration from Prince Harry in Vision for Modern Monarchy

In a surprising twist, it seems that is looking to his estranged brother, , for inspiration as he contemplates the future of the British monarchy.

The Prince of Wales is currently mapping out new changes for the royal family under the reign of his father, III.

His recent comments suggest a desire to reshape what it means to be royal in today's world.

Royal expert Katie Nicholl pointed out that William's recent remarks about his vision for the monarchy echo sentiments expressed by Harry back in 2020 when he stepped back from his royal duties.

William described his monarchy using the phrase “the lowercase r in royal,” a statement that some see as a nod to Harry's push for a more relatable and modern royal family.

Nicholl, who serves as Vanity Fair's royal editor, noted that Harry has long advocated for a more open and compassionate approach within the royal institution.

“Let's be more open, let's be more compassionate, let's do something different,” she quoted, highlighting Harry's ongoing efforts to shift the royal narrative toward a more inclusive and understanding model.

Harry's departure from royal life stemmed from his belief that he couldn't effect the change he envisioned from within the institution.

However, it appears that his ideas are starting to gain traction among the royals, particularly with William's recent statements.

Nicholl remarked, “I think we've seen the royal family take a leaf out of Harry's book,” indicating a significant shift in royal dynamics.

Despite this apparent alignment, Nicholl also emphasized that the royal family remains committed to its core values.
