**Princess Catherine Brings Cheer to Maternity Ward with Heartwarming Visit**

Princess Catherine, known as the Princess of Wales, brightened up a rather dreary day by spreading joy and warmth during a visit to a maternity facility.

The Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford was graced with her presence, where she met Sylvia Novak, a new mother, and her six-week premature baby Bianca.

In endearing photos captured at the hospital, Princess Catherine can be seen engaging with Miss Novak while cradling little Bianca in her arms.

During her visit to the special baby care unit, the Princess, originally from Budapest, Hungary, was offered the chance to hold baby Bianca by the new mother herself.

With a hint of surprise, Catherine asked, “Am I allowed to?”

before a staff member facilitated the passing of the baby into her arms.

As she cuddled the infant, Princess Catherine expressed, “She's very sweet,” before returning Bianca to Miss Novak and continuing her tour of the hospital.

After the heartwarming encounter, Miss Novak shared her thoughts, expressing her admiration for the Princess's kindness and down-to-earth nature.

She mentioned, “I asked her if she wanted to hold her, and she opted for it.

I can't blame her.

Bianca is cute.

The Princess was lovely to speak to.

I was really impressed.”

Princess Catherine's visit was slightly delayed as she took the time to interact with numerous hospital employees and members of the public.

She reminisced about her own experiences as a mother of three, recalling the early days of her children's lives.

Reflecting on the growth of her youngest, , she humorously remarked, “It just feels like yesterday until I saw a real infant and remembered he was without a doubt a big boy now.”

The Princess also spent time on a postnatal ward, engaging with parents of babies born within the last 24 hours.

She empathized with the challenges of parenthood, acknowledging the unpredictability of childbirth.

Praising the resilience of the mothers, she noted, “No matter how much everyone tells you what to expect, it's a shock to the system, isn't it?

Every single birth is different.”

In addition to her interactions with new parents, Princess Catherine met with representatives of the Jasmine team, focusing on mental health support for expectant and new mothers.

She inquired about the effectiveness of mental health care services and the evolving perceptions of stigma surrounding such issues.

For her visit, the Princess donned a vibrant yellow dress paired with navy suede court stilettos and a matching clutch bag, exuding elegance and warmth.

The maternity unit she visited, catering to approximately 3,000 babies annually, received a prestigious UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative Gold Award for its dedication to supporting infant feeding and parent-infant relationships.

Princess Catherine's commitment to early childhood development aligns with her work at the Centre for Early Childhood.

Her genuine interactions with mothers and infants reflect her passion for nurturing and supporting families, resonating with her recent expressions of fondness for babies and family life.

Reports of the Princess's desire for another child have circulated for some time, underscoring her love for children and family.

Despite past complications during pregnancy, Catherine remains open to the idea of expanding her family, as hinted during various public engagements.

Her genuine affection for children and family moments shines through, emphasizing the cherished aspects of family life that she holds dear.
