and have found themselves in a bit of hot water recently.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are set to leave Kensington Palace, moving closer to the Queen at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor.

While many might see this as a simple relocation, it's stirred up quite the controversy among Britons, especially given the current economic climate.

The couple's decision to take on another home has raised eyebrows, particularly during a time when many citizens are grappling with a severe cost-of-living crisis.

He pointed out that for most people, acquiring a third residence is far from ordinary, especially when one home is already a significant financial burden on the public.

Scobie emphasized that while Adelaide Cottage will not cost taxpayers anything, the optics of the situation remain troubling.

He highlighted that the couple has opted to rent rather than purchase, which means any renovations or upgrades they wish to make will come out of their own pockets.
