One notable property is Dolphin House, a beautiful granite rectory that offers spectacular views and a private walled garden.

Dolphin House is not just a vacation rental; it has become a favored retreat for the royal family due to its seclusion.

Queen Elizabeth II's sister, the late Princess Margaret, frequently visited the island, and her lady-in-waiting's husband gifted her land there, leading to the creation of her own villa, La Joyeuse.

After her marriage troubles, Mystique became a sanctuary for Margaret, offering solace away from the public eye.

In a touching gesture, Margaret later gifted her villa to her son David Linney as a wedding present.

He eventually sold it in 1999 for £2.4 million.

Recently, Prince William shared updates on his visit to St. Mary's Community Hospital during his trip to the Isles of Scilly.
