Harry and Meghan: From Anti-Racism Award to Celebrity Blacklist

On December 6th, Harry and Meghan were recognized for their commitment to social justice at the Ripple of Hope gala, receiving an anti-racism award.

Just two days later, however, they found themselves on the outside looking in at Time's 2022 Person of the Year reception held in New York City.

The event honored Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, alongside other notable figures like Blackpink, who claimed the title of Entertainer of the Year, and Aaron Judge, named Athlete of the Year.

The gala also celebrated the courageous women leading protests in Iran, dubbing them Heroes of the Year, while actress Michelle Yeoh was honored as Icon of the Year.

Interestingly, this recognition comes after Meghan publicly reached out to Zelensky at the start of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

Despite her efforts, it seems that her support went unacknowledged, as Zelensky thanked the Cambridges but left Meghan out of the conversation entirely.

Rumors have recently emerged suggesting that Meghan has been blacklisted by one of Los Angeles' most influential packing agents.

In Hollywood, news travels fast, and it appears that the film industry is closing its doors on her.

For those unfamiliar, a packing agent is responsible for assembling scripts, actors, and directors before pitching projects to studios.

Unfortunately for Meghan, it looks like her dreams of securing a prominent role in Hollywood may be dashed.

This blacklist isn't new; sources indicate that Meghan's troubles began long before her stint on “Suits.”

Disney reportedly distanced itself from her following the controversy surrounding her documentary about elephants.

Furthermore, Spotify and Netflix are also said to be uninterested in working with her again, leaving her career aspirations hanging by a thread.

The release of the first three episodes of Harry and Meghan's documentary series sparked a wave of backlash on social media.

Viewers, including both royal supporters and critics of Megxit, took to platforms to express their discontent.

Many felt that the couple's comments regarding and Catherine were a cheap tactic aimed at boosting viewership.

One British commentator expressed their frustration on Twitter, stating they could never imagine airing family disputes for financial gain.

Others chimed in, criticizing the couple's perceived exploitation of royal family dynamics for publicity.

A particularly telling moment from the series featured Harry appearing visibly uncomfortable as Meghan mocked his family, raising questions about the authenticity of their relationship.

In the same series, Harry shared the story of how he met Meghan, which has since raised eyebrows among royal fans.

He claimed their initial interaction occurred over Instagram when he stumbled upon a video featuring her.

This narrative contradicts Meghan's previous account from 2017, where she described their meeting as a blind date.

This discrepancy has not gone unnoticed, with royal enthusiasts taking to Twitter to voice their confusion.

Comments flooded in questioning which version of their story is accurate, especially in light of the palace's infamous statement that some recollections may vary.

It seems the Sussexes' narrative continues to shift, leaving many wondering about the truth behind their relationship.

As the couple navigates their post-royal lives, the challenges they face in both public perception and professional opportunities are becoming increasingly apparent.

With their recent accolades overshadowed by a lack of invitations to significant events and a growing blacklist in Hollywood, Harry and Meghan's path forward appears uncertain.

The couple's attempts to redefine their brand and influence may be met with skepticism, as evidenced by the reactions to their documentary.

As they continue to share their story, the question remains: will they find acceptance and success in an industry that seems to be turning its back on them?
