Anti-Sussex Sentiments: Meghan Markle in Tears as U.S. Royal Michael Bloomberg Bars Collaboration

The rift between and , also known as the Sussexes, and prominent American families seems to be widening.

Following Rockefeller heiress Kayla's public criticism of Meghan, another high-profile figure has joined the anti-Sussex camp.

Georgina Bloomberg, daughter of billionaire former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, expressed her family's strong disapproval of the royal couple at a recent charity event in New York.

Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com during the Rescue Dogs Rock NYC Cocktails for Canines event, Georgina Bloomberg made it clear that her family is not open to collaborating with the Sussexes, particularly through their Archibald Foundation.

When asked if she would consider working with Harry and Meghan's foundation for charitable purposes, Georgina firmly stated that it would be out of the question, as her mother holds a deep-seated aversion towards the Duchess of Sussex.

Georgina revealed that her mother, Susan Brown, a British native, raised her children in a traditional British manner and passed down her negative opinions of Meghan to her offspring.

Describing her mother's stance as “very” anti-Sussex, Georgina emphasized that her family's reservations about the royal couple existed long before they gained widespread support in the United States.

Despite her father Michael Bloomberg's past encounter with and his involvement in philanthropy, which includes donating billions through Bloomberg Philanthropies, the Bloomberg family remains unsupportive of the Sussexes.

Michael, a billionaire and former mayor of New York City, had a private meeting with Prince Harry in 2008 but apparently, this interaction did little to sway his family's views on the royal couple.

In contrast to the substantial charitable contributions made by Michael Bloomberg, Meghan and Harry's Archival Foundation has faced scrutiny for raising significantly less funds since its inception post-Megxit.

While the royal couple's foundation has donated $3 million out of the $13 million raised, the Bloomberg family's philanthropic efforts overshadow theirs in terms of financial impact.

Georgina Bloomberg, who is engaged to investment banker Justin Waterman, has embraced her father's philanthropic legacy by focusing on animal rights through her charity Rescue Dogs Rock NYC.

She aims to raise awareness about the challenges faced by homeless animals in the U.S. and advocates for their adoption into loving homes, highlighting the importance of combatting animal abuse and neglect.

Georgina's critical remarks about Meghan and Harry echo sentiments expressed by other influential figures, such as Kayla Rockefeller, who recently denounced Meghan as too controversial for her jewelry brand.

The growing chorus of disapproval from prominent American families suggests that the Sussexes' once-strong support in the U.S. is waning, posing challenges for their future endeavors.

As tensions between the Sussexes and segments of American society continue to escalate, it remains to be seen how the royal couple will navigate these obstacles and maintain their philanthropic initiatives in the face of mounting criticism.

The clash between tradition, celebrity, and philanthropy underscores the complexities of navigating public perception and familial expectations in the modern era.
