Duchess of Cornwall Shines in Country Life’s Special Anniversary Issue

In a delightful celebration of both her 75th birthday and the 125th anniversary of Country Life magazine, the Duchess of Cornwall is gracing the publication's front pages.

This special edition, set for release on July 13, will feature stunning photographs taken by none other than her daughter-in-law, the Duchess of Cambridge.

The picturesque setting for the shoot was the Duchess's own garden at Ray Mill House, located in the charming village of Lacock, Wiltshire.

The timing of this issue is particularly significant, as it comes just days before 's milestone birthday on July 17.

Among the charming images that will be showcased is one featuring her beloved Jack Russell terriers, Bluebell and Beth, elegantly draped in the Duchess's pearls.

Another captivating shot captures her seated on a bench in a lovely blue dress, surrounded by a basket of fresh flowers.

's connection to Ray Mill House runs deep; she purchased the six-bedroom residence after her divorce from Andrew Parker Bowles in 1996.

This house served as her sanctuary until she moved in with Prince Charles at Clarence House in 2003.

The intimate nature of these photographs reflects her journey and the comfort of home.

This marks a historic moment as it is the first time a formal portrait of the Duchess of Cornwall has been captured for a magazine by the Duchess of Cambridge.

The team at Country Life expressed their excitement about being chosen to unveil these beautiful images, which they describe as superb.

They are eager to collaborate with Kate again in the future.

The collaboration between the two Duchesses has been a labor of love.

Country Life worked closely with Camilla and her small royal team for an impressive six months to create this special 244-page issue.

The magazine's features editor, Paula Lester, noted how seriously the Duchess of Cambridge approached her photographic task, showcasing her professionalism throughout the project.

Lester recounted a phone call where they discussed the magazine's cover requirements, leading to a collection of beautifully composed images.
