Prince William’s Stark Warning to Harry About Meghan Markle
In a revelation that has stirred conversations across royal circles, Prince William reportedly issued a blunt warning to his brother, Prince Harry, regarding his relationship with Meghan Markle.
This warning came during the early stages of Harry and Meghan's romance, which began in 2016 and culminated in their grand wedding in Windsor in 2018.
According to Harry's autobiography, “Spare,” the exchange left him feeling a bit hurt.
The moment in question unfolded when Harry excitedly shared news of his new love interest with William and his sister-in-law, Kate Middleton.
William's response was anything but warm.
He remarked, “She's an American actress, after all, Harold.
Anything might happen.” This comment hinted at William's reservations about Meghan, reflecting the cautious nature often associated with royal engagements.
Their first official gathering took place at Nottingham Cottage, Harry's former residence located within the grounds of Kensington Palace.
The dinner was meant to be a friendly affair, where the couples could bond and discuss Meghan's burgeoning career in the popular legal drama “Suits.”
At that point, everything seemed to go smoothly, but tensions were brewing beneath the surface.
However, Meghan later expressed her surprise at the formality displayed by William and Kate during their initial meeting.
In the couple's Netflix documentary, she recounted her experience, highlighting the stark contrast in their styles.
Meghan remembered being dressed casually in ripped jeans and going barefoot, which made her feel out of place in the presence of the royals.
“I was a hugger,” Meghan noted, reflecting on her more relaxed demeanor.
