According to a spokesperson for the Sussexes, Meghan and Harry traveled to Jamaica as guests of Paramount Pictures, who were distributing the film.

They shared a private jet with executives and stayed at the same hotel.

Their appearance on the red carpet alongside Jamaican politicians, amid discussions of removing the king as the island's head of state, garnered significant global attention, potentially pleasing Paramount and raising hopes for a lucrative deal.

However, the Paramount CEO refuted claims of inviting Meghan and Harry, asserting that they did not reserve space for the couple on the private jet or treat them as VIPs at the event.
