Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are gearing up for a nostalgic trip back to Canada in the coming weeks.

The upcoming event holds significant importance as it marks the inaugural winter edition of the Invictus Games, a sporting competition initiated by Prince Harry nearly ten years ago to support and honor sick and injured military personnel.

Canada holds a special place in the hearts of Prince Harry and Meghan, as it was where they initially settled after their departure from the United Kingdom before eventually relocating to Montecito.

Chris Ship, ITV's esteemed Royal Editor, took to his platform to confirm the exciting news, stating that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be revisiting Canada, the nation where they first established their post-Royal life.

Their visit to Whistler in February is not only a personal milestone but also marks the countdown to the highly anticipated Invictus Games 2025.

The previous edition of the Invictus Games, held in September 2022 in Düsseldorf, Germany, was a resounding success for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

The couple actively participated in the event, engaging with attendees and showing their unwavering support for the competitors.

Notably absent were their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, who remained in their California residence, shielded from the public eye.

During their time in Germany, Prince Harry and Meghan attended a reception hosted by the Canadian delegation, promoting the forthcoming Invictus Games that will feature winter sports for the first time.

The significance of Canada in their journey together was highlighted, as it was in Toronto during the 2017 Invictus Games where their relationship flourished, culminating in their engagement later that year.

While residing in Canada, the couple, along with their young family, found solace on Vancouver Island in a lavish £14 million property in North Saanich, British Columbia.
