Resentment Between Kate and Meghan Emerges Following Queen’s Funeral

The Royal Family faced a tumultuous time as they mourned the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, with reports emerging of underlying tensions between Kate, the Princess of Wales, and her sister-in-law Meghan Markle.

The situation unfolded after both Kate and Meghan were instructed to remain behind while the rest of the family journeyed to Balmoral on the day of the Queen's demise.

According to role biographer Robert Jobson's latest book, “Our King,” Kate harbored a deep desire to be present during the somber occasion but was advised against it, leading to feelings of resentment towards Meghan.

The Mirror revealed that Charles, the King, deemed it inappropriate for the two women to join the family in Scotland during such a sensitive time.

In the wake of the Queen's deteriorating health on September 8th, members of the Royal Family swiftly made their way to Balmoral to be by her side.

Alongside Charles and Camilla, Princess Anne was present when the monarch passed away, followed by the arrival of Prince William, Prince Edward, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, Prince Andrew, and eventually Prince Harry.

Prince Harry, who learned about his grandmother's demise through a message from Meghan and subsequently confirmed the news on the BBC website, expressed his desire for Meghan to accompany him to Scotland.

However, the King intervened, emphasizing that only immediate family should be present during the Queen's final moments.

This decision led to Kate being asked to remain behind, a move aimed at ensuring fairness between Meghan and the other family members.

The aftermath of the Queen's passing saw the reunion of the two brothers, William and Harry, alongside their wives, after a prolonged period of estrangement.

Once referred to as the Fab Four, the quartet had not been seen together for over two years, marking a poignant moment as they grieved the loss of their grandmother.

Meghan and Harry's decision to step down as senior members of the Royal Family in 2020, followed by their relocation to the United States, had already strained relations within the family.

The rift between the brothers escalated further with the release of Harry's memoir, in which he detailed physical altercations with William, including an incident where he alleged William pushed him into a dog bowl.

The upcoming coronation ceremony is poised to bring Harry face to face with William for the first time since the publication of the memoir, adding an additional layer of complexity to their already fragile relationship.

Harry's recent return to the UK for a court case did not result in a meeting with the King and William, as both were reportedly preoccupied with their royal duties.
