Meghan Markle Banned from Hollywood Christmas Parade Amid Controversy Over Billboards Request

The 91st Hollywood Christmas Parade is set to kick off this Sunday, a beloved tradition in the heart of the movie capital.

According to Deadline, the grand event will commence at 6 pm, featuring a star-studded lineup of celebrities and VIPs making their way through the streets of Hollywood.

The parade will be co-hosted by actors Eric Estrada and Dean Cain, alongside Montel Williams, Laura McKenzie, and Elizabeth Stanton.

However, reports have surfaced that has been barred from participating in the festivities.

Thousands of spectators are expected to gather along the 3.2-mile U-shaped route to catch a glimpse of over 90 celebrities, 14 pre-parade and parade performers, 10 bands, 6 towering character balloons, 3 floats, 39 movie cars, and 8 novelty vehicles.

The parade will culminate with the much-anticipated appearance of Santa Claus and his reindeer, bringing joy to onlookers of all ages.

In total, around 5,000 participants are anticipated to partake in the parade, all in support of Marine Toys for Tots.

A source from Blind Item disclosed that 's exclusion from the Hollywood Christmas Parade was orchestrated by WME, citing concerns that her presence would overshadow the event.

Undeterred, Meghan reportedly expressed her desire to have billboards featuring her image adorned with feminist and humanitarian messages placed along the parade route.

She also envisioned riding in a carriage next to Harry, who would assume the role of Santa Claus.

Despite her requests, the parade organizers opted not to accommodate Meghan's wishes.

The Hollywood Christmas Parade, an annual production by Associated Television International, has been a staple event broadcast on the Hallmark Channel and in syndication.

In a bid to ensure her appearance on television, Meghan sought assistance from WME.

The parade will commence at 6 pm on Sundays, commencing at Orange Street and Hollywood Boulevard before proceeding east on Hollywood Boulevard to Vine Street, then south on Vine Street to Sunset Boulevard, and finally west on Sunset back to Orange.

Among the notable figures slated to participate in this year's parade are Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, dancer-singer Paula Abdul, singer Dwight Yoakam, radio host Keri Kasem, pop duo Ali and AJ, as well as actors Chris Catton, Craig Robinson, Ernie Hudson, Brandon Roth, Ming Na Wen, Denise Richards, and Tatina Ali.

The event aims to highlight charitable causes such as Toys for Tots, underscoring the importance of giving back during the holiday season.

Recent reports by GOTV suggest that Meghan Markle is contemplating her next career move following her departure from royal duties in 2020.

Omid Scobie, while promoting his upcoming book, hinted that business and philanthropy would be at the forefront of Meghan's endeavors.

Scobie acknowledged the uncertainty surrounding Meghan's future projects, hinting at potential shifts in her plans.
