Gucci President Blacklists Meghan from Star-Studded LACMA Gala

The highly anticipated LACMA art and film gala this year showcased a dazzling array of star power and glamorous fashion.

Celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Salma Hayek, Jennifer Lopez, Pedro Pascal, and more graced the event with their presence, turning heads and setting trends on the red carpet.

Held on Saturday, November 4th, the gala boasted an exclusive guest list featuring A-listers and Oscar winners, including the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lopez, and Billie Eilish, making it one of the most star-studded events in Hollywood amidst the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.

Co-chaired by DiCaprio, LACMA trustee Ava Chao, Gucci creative director Salvatore De Samo, and Gucci president and CEO Jean-Francois Pellu, the event, presented by Gucci, was a night to remember.

The red carpet was graced by luminaries such as Ben Affleck, Kim Kardashian, Keanu Reeves, Andrew Garfield, and Jessica Chastain, among others, adding to the glitz and glamour of the evening.

Notably, Jennifer Lopez took the stage to introduce the musical guest, Lenny Kravitz, who delivered a show-stopping performance.

Kim Kardashian turned heads in a striking pink gown that accentuated her curves and commanded attention as she made her grand entrance.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez exuded radiance in a golden ensemble while standing beside her husband, Ben Affleck.

Heidi Klum stunned in a plunging white feathered design, and Salma Hayek dazzled in a gold metallic gown adorned with intricate embellishments, showcasing their impeccable style and grace.

At the gala, Gucci unveiled its Ancora Knot collection, marking Salvatore De Samo’s foray into evening wear design.

Celebrities like A$AP Rocky, Elliot Page, Garfield, and Pedro Pascal showcased De Sano’s debut in formal menswear, highlighting the brand’s commitment to luxury and sophistication.

However, notable absentees from the event were the Harkles, who reportedly did not receive an invitation.

In a surprising turn of events, it was revealed that WME secured tickets for the Harkles to attend the Katy Perry concert instead of the LACMA gala.

This move raised eyebrows as it appeared that Meghan would use the concert as an excuse for missing the gala, despite not being invited to either event initially.

The Harkles’ absence from high-profile events has sparked rumors of them being shunned by A-list celebrities, with speculations pointing towards George and Amal Clooney as potential influencers behind the exclusions.

The Harkles’ association with WME, a prominent Hollywood agency, has come under scrutiny, with questions raised about the agency’s decision to represent them.

Concerns have been raised about the impact of this association on other clients represented by WME, who may feel uneasy about sharing the same agency with the controversial couple.

Speculation also surrounds a rumored bet between Ari Emanuel of WME and Ken Sunshine of Sunshine and Saks regarding Meghan’s rise to A-list status, a challenge that seems to have faced obstacles and skepticism along the way.
