Princess Catherine Shines in Black Lace Alexander McQueen Gown at Royal Variety Performance

The Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Kate, graced the London Palladium Theatre on the 18th of November 2019 for the prestigious Royal Variety Performance.

This annual event serves as a fundraiser for the Royal Variety Charity, drawing in members of the public for an enchanting evening in the company of esteemed royals.

The charity, under the patronage of the Queen, extends support to entertainers across the UK facing challenges such as aging, health issues, and difficult circumstances.

Marking their third consecutive year attending the performance, all eyes were on Princess Catherine and her impeccable fashion choice for the evening.

Catherine turned heads in a breathtaking black gown crafted by none other than the renowned designer Alexander McQueen.

The bespoke piece showcased intricate black floral lace layered over a n-de fabric, accentuated by a sweetheart neckline and shoulders adorned with elegant black velvet trimmings.

A defining feature of the gown was the black velvet band cinching her waist, adding a touch of sophistication to her ensemble.

Completing her look with finesse, Catherine accessorized with a Jimmy Choo Celeste clutch in black velvet, featuring exquisite gold hardware and a striking jewel-shaped clasp.

Notably, the same clutch remains a coveted item in the Jimmy Choo collection, available in various colors and designs.

Among her jewelry choices were the stunning Erdem floral hoop drop earrings, a piece she introduced in October 2018, priced at US$1,220 at the time.

Additionally, she opted for the classic Jimmy Choo Romy pumps in black velvet to complement her attire.

While her outfit exuded grace and elegance, it was Catherine’s hairstyle that stole the spotlight.
