Royal Children to Attend Queen’s Funeral Procession

Prince George and , the young members of the royal family, are set to participate in the procession leading up to the Queen's funeral.

It is reported that their attendance was suggested by their parents, and Kate, who believed it was essential for their nine-year-old and seven-year-old children to be present at this significant event to bid their final farewell to the late Sovereign.

Sources revealed that there were discussions about Prince George's presence at the funeral, with the possibility of him providing a comforting presence for mourners nationwide.

According to insiders, courtiers are eager for Prince George to have a role at the funeral, even if it is just to reassure the public about the order of succession.

The decision regarding his participation is still under consideration, as confirmed by a palace source.

Today's state funeral will see Kate and William's eldest son and daughter as among the youngest mourners present, possibly the only great-grandchildren of the Queen attending the event.

The procession is expected to mirror the one at 's funeral, with George and Charlotte walking behind the Queen's coffin from Westminster Hall to Westminster Abbey.

Leading the procession will be King Charles III and Queen , followed by Princess Anne and Vice-Admiral Sir Timothy Lawrence.

and Prince Edward will follow suit, preceding the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children.

Subsequently, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and other Royal Family members will join the procession.

Following the procession, which will transport the Queen's casket to Westminster Abbey's West Gage at 10:52 am, the Royals will join the congregation for the commencement of the service at 11 am.

The last public appearance of Prince George, , and was on September 8, as they embarked on their first day at Lambrook School in Berkshire.
