Prince Louis Marks First Day at Nursery Ahead of Third Birthday

, the youngest member of the royal family, has embarked on his nursery journey as he prepares to turn three tomorrow.

In a heartwarming moment captured on Wednesday, the young prince exuded joy while gripping the handlebars of his vibrant red balance bike.

The Duchess of Cambridge, known for her passion for photography, snapped a picture of Louis looking sharp and dapper for his inaugural day at preschool.

Following the tradition set by his older sister Charlotte, who is five years old, Louis has enrolled at Wilcox Nursery School, which comes with a hefty annual fee of £14,000 for full-time attendance.

Situated in close proximity to Kensington Palace, where the Cambridges reside, the nursery welcomed Louis with open arms.

A spokesperson from the palace expressed the couple's delight in sharing the adorable snapshot of their son ahead of his birthday celebrations.

Kate, who enjoys capturing candid moments of her family, skillfully photographed Louis as he confidently posed on his £190 Frog the Tadpole balance bike.

Initially slated to start preschool in January, Louis's commencement was postponed due to the nationwide lockdown measures.

During the Christmas holidays, and Kate retreated to their country estate, Anmer Hall in Norfolk.

However, the restrictions imposed by the lockdown prolonged their stay in the countryside, delaying their return to London until recently.

Their eldest son, George, began his educational journey at Westacre Montessori School in Norfolk when he was just two and a half years old.

Following in her brother's footsteps, Charlotte joined Wilcox Nursery School at a similar age, continuing the family's education legacy.
